I teach a class called "Drop on By" which is a bracelet that uses a lampwork bead as a focal. I have also been incorporating many of them in necklaces as well. Here are a few of my new bracelets and necklaces!

Now that the weather is nicer I am able to make beads in the morning, before I open the store and at night, after the store closes. I have been making about 8 to 10 beads a day. Most of my beads I sell at the store and seem to sell them faster than I can make them. I pull a few aside to use for my personal jewelry. I am still working on making them round but that doesn't seem to matter to my customers. I call them "Organic", they call them "One of a Kind" and they love them! I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to sell my beads while I continue to strive to make them round and work on different color combinations.

I haven't burned myself to badly yet and, best of all, I haven't burned down the house!

My First Peyote Wrapped Cabacon

We had 17 people at our Peyote Wrapped Cabacon class. She is so talented! I made about 8 or 9 pieces and became certified in PMC. I was so proud of what I made. I put them all in a tray and displayed them in one of the front cases in my store. Customers would tease me and say, "When are you going to wear one of those pieces?" I treated the case like it was a shrine! Well, yesterday I finally took one of them out an incorporated it with some gemstones and crystals. Then I needed to pick the elements that I was going to use for my Kumihimo Braid. I chose Labradorite, Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski Crystals and 3 different colors of 8/0 Seed Beads.
